The Story

Lucas Kull believed in orders. A Marine, a leader, and an operative for the powerful Markle Corporation, he was sent across a dystopian America to hunt the people he had been told were responsible for the outbreak.

Then everything changed. Blinded during a mission and abandoned by the very people he trusted, Lucas is rescued by the same civilians he was sent to capture and kill. They give him shelter. They treat his wounds. And, for the first time, he begins to see the truth behind the war he has been fighting.

The Infected were not the only victims. The enemy was not who he had been told. And the people Lucas once hunted are now the people depending on him to survive.

Road From Horno is the story of a soldier forced to confront his past, protect those he once persecuted, and walk a new road from obedience to conviction, from guilt to redemption.

I kept walking because stopping meant thinking. Thinking meant remembering. And remembering meant I might not take the next step.
Lucas — Field Journal
Content Note: Road from Horno depicts realistic depictions of war, combat trauma, and survival under extreme duress. Themes of faith, loss, and PTSD are handled with care, grounded in real veteran experience.

Core Pillars

01
Tactical Survival: American Dystopia

Perpetual night, tight interiors, flooded routes, and exposed ground turn visibility and positioning into survival tools. The infected only stay down when a shot reaches the brain, so panic wastes more than ammunition.

02
Protect the Living

Lucas does not fight for a kill count. He rescues civilians, holds defensive positions, and leads survivors through hostile ground to extraction. A mission is only won when the people beside him make it out too.

03
Uncover and Broadcast the Truth

Documents, access codes, restored power, and radio relays drive the campaign forward. Every cleared route and defended transmitter exposes another piece of MARKA’s infection program — and gives the underground a reason to keep fighting.

04
Redemption Under Fire

Lucas begins as MARKA’s enforcer and becomes a defender of the Christians he once hunted. His Saul-to-Paul journey is carried through service, sacrifice, and mercy, making faith the spine of the campaign rather than a layer placed on top.
